This compilation has articles penned by women who have excelled themselves in diverse fields Law (Mrs Zia Mody) to Journalism (Ms Sherheen Bhan) to Banking (Mrs. Chanda Kochhar) to government (Mrs. Nirupama Rao)
Mrs. Naina Lal Kidwai has put down her thoughts too. The compilation does not include women who have excelled in Politics, Sports and Movie world. Editor says if these three fields were chosen – one would have had to include some many women- that the compilation would run up many volumes.
Mrs. Naina Lal Kidwai, first woman to be appointed as an articled clerk- (training done as part of the Chartered Accountancy course) in PwC, first Indian woman to graduate from the prestigious Harvard Business School was elected as president of FICCI for the year 2013. That was the year India had more women CEOs in the banking sector than any other country.
